DoucheChillz.com seeks to induce collective embarrassment for the people, by the people on a regular basis across a variety of media.
To experience DoucheChillz is to experience humanity in the most visceral way. When something gives you DoucheChillz, it is often embarrassing by means of some combination of the annoying, douchey, lame, awkward, or creepy…and yet none of those words tell the whole story. In fact, the failure of language is demonstrative of DoucheChillz nature. DoucheChillz are born of some unknown alchemy of douche that bypasses the language centers completely, leaving us shuddering and speechless. We find ourselves alternately attracted and repelled, spent and titillated by what we have witnessed.
Things like horrific social gaffs and catastrophic attempts at humor are our bread and butter here, and we hope you find them equally nourishing.
You are invited to join in on the journey by contributing materials that you find douchechillian so that our collection of chillz might grow vast and varied, relevant and reflective of our evolving world. We hope you will encourage friends and neighbors to do the same.
Embarrassment for the people.
- What exactly are Douchechillz?
Douchechillz are the curiously uncomfortable sensation of second-hand embarrassment. They can be evoked by witnessing something that’s douchey, lame, awkward, corny, or even creepy.
What do douchechillz mean to you? Submit a photo, vote in a poll, or comment on a post to let us know.
- Are DoucheChillz bad?
No, they’re fun! Particularly for people who find pleasure in the uncomfortable: people who engage carnival barkers in conversation, pause their channel surfing for questionable local ‘event’ coverage, and frequent community theater productions.
Douchechillz can serve as useful evolutionary signposts. When something gives you douchechillz it usually suggests someone or something — or humanity in general — is responsible.

We love Jeremy’s acting work but are even more in awe of his choice in web design.
